Jesmonite is one of our favourite materials to work with — and for good reason. Here's how we create our stunning Jesmonite pieces:

1. Mixing — We carefully mix the Jesmonite powder with liquid to create a smooth, creamy consistency. Getting the ratio just right is crucial for a perfect finish.
2. Colouring — We add pigments to create our beautiful colours. This is where the artistry really begins — blending shades to achieve exactly the right tone.
3. Pouring — The mixture is carefully poured into moulds. We tap and rotate the moulds to remove any air bubbles and ensure every detail is captured perfectly.
4. Setting — We leave the pieces to set and cure. Patience is key here — rushing this stage can ruin a piece!
5. Demoulding — The moment of truth! We carefully remove the piece from the mould and inspect it for quality.
6. Finishing — Each piece is hand-sanded, painted, and finished to perfection. This is the most time-consuming stage — but it's what makes our pieces truly special.

How Our Wooden Signs Are Made

Our personalised wooden signs and gifts go through their own careful process:

1. Selecting the wood — We choose high quality wood that will take engraving and paint beautifully.
2. Cutting and shaping — Each piece is cut to size and shaped by hand.
